Derived data: Japanese readings and selected English meanings, normalized and filtered for this app. Mood labels and playful ateji are app additions. The KANJIDIC2-derived dataset and derived meaning artwork are distributed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Source snapshot date is recorded in src/lib/dictionary.json.
Refresh: python3 scripts/import-kanjidic.py, then regenerate card font subsets and English artwork using scripts/prepare-card-fonts.py and scripts/subset-font.py. Refresh at least monthly before production publication.
