KAMIKAZE-NIZE is a small, one-person entertainment project. This page explains the little data it collects and why.

What gets saved

When you save a name tag, we store:

• The name you typed and the generated result (kanji, meaning, color)
• The date the tag was created
• A random browser identifier (see Cookies below) tied to that tag, so you can delete it later

Saved tags are public. Anyone with the link, or browsing the name wall, can see them. Don't submit anything you don't want public, and feel free to use a nickname instead of your full legal name.

Cookies

We set one cookie, kn_browser, containing a random identifier — not your name or any other personal data. It's used to let you delete tags you created, avoid inflating a tag's view count from your own repeat visits, and limit how many tags can be created in a short time to prevent abuse. It lasts up to a year and isn't shared with anyone.

On-device AI (Gemini Nano)

If you opt into Gemini Nano, kanji are chosen by a model that runs entirely inside your browser — nothing about your name is sent to Google's servers for this. Your browser may still need to download the model from Google the first time you use it.

Advertising

This site loads Google AdSense, which may set its own cookies and use them to serve personalized ads. Google's handling of that data is covered by Google's Privacy & Terms. You can control ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings.

Rate limiting

To stop abuse (scripts spamming the name wall), we briefly hash your IP address and use that hash to cap how many tags can be created per minute. The hash is discarded automatically after about a minute and is never linked to your saved tags.

What we don't do

We don't store your raw IP address anywhere, don't sell any data, and don't run analytics or tracking beyond the ad network above.

Deleting your data

Open a tag you created from the same browser you made it with, and use the delete option. Deleted tags are removed from the name wall immediately.
